Julietta Curenton has established herself as a leading flute soloist, chamber musician, Professor and clinician. She is an international and national prize winner who has appeared as guest soloist with the National and Baltimore Symphonies, the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, among others. Her passions include frequently commissioning music written by women and African American composers - groups she believes are often marginalized in the classical music space. Ms. Curenton is a deeply devoted educator who frequently presents masterclasses and workshops for the next generation of musicians. She is the Assistant Professor of Flute at The Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia.
